What it is
Trello is the kanban board everyone has used at least once. Cards, lists and drag-and-drop, with Butler automation and Power-Ups for calendars, time tracking and integrations. Simple on purpose, which is both its charm and its ceiling.
Standout capability
Butler automation and the Power-Up ecosystem on a cheap plan

What people praise
The simplest possible kanban; fine for a small board.
What people complain about
Too basic for real projects (no dependencies or reporting), the free tier is capped at 10 collaborators, and the recent redesign feels cluttered.
