What it is

Cursor is a VS Code-based editor built around AI: Tab completions, an agent that plans and edits across many files, cloud agents and the Bugbot code reviewer. Since October 2026 it is sold as part of The X Subscription, with a shared weekly usage pool for Grok models across Cursor, Grok and X. Third-party models such as Claude and GPT are only available on Premium and above and are billed separately at API list prices, which long-time users criticise.
