Assembly is the client portal platform previously sold as Copilot at copilot.app; it rebranded on 30 September 2025 and now lives at assembly.com, with existing Copilot portals and URLs still working. Firms get a white-label portal where clients can message, pay invoices, sign documents, upload files and use embedded third-party or custom apps. A free forever plan exists, but custom domains and badge removal sit on the Professional tier and above, and there is no native time tracking or deep project management.
